Jim Morrison, former front man of The Doors was believed to have died of a heart failure in his bathtub at his Paris apartment at the young age of 27. Or so it was believed. New startling revelations say that Morrison actually died somewhere else.

Lizard King’s friend Sam Bernett says the official story is all wrong, and that Morrison actually died at Rock and Roll Circus, the nightclub Bernett was managing at the time.

Bernett’s book “The End: Jim Morrison” (available only in Bernett’s native French!) alleges that Morrison was found slumped over in the club’s mucky men’s bathroom, and club bouncers dragged his dead body back to Morrison’s apartment. Bernett’s story was backed up by former Circus employee Patrick Chauvel, who says he was present the night Morrison was carried out.

It is reported that Bernett kept his story a secret all these years because, he says, it was all such a bad memory. Drugs, sex and rock and roll no longer light his fire, says Bernett, who is now currently a successful radio DJ and a Vice President of Disneyland Paris.
